Audubon Achievements:
Educating the Public
Throughout Connecticut, Audubon Centers
work with schools, community centers, parents, and others
to help thousands of children understand and appreciate their
natural world. In 2009 more than 9,000 children from all across
Connecticut participated in curriculum based educational programs
on everything from Observing Nature Through Seasonal Changes
to Understanding Water Erosion and Watersheds.
